Here are the instructions of our 2nd themed post:
My favorite pet or animal:
· What animal it is/was. Where it is from.
· What special characteristics it has/had.
· Have you ever had/seen one. Share experiences or anecdotes.
· Why you like it that much.
Good luck!
When it comes to pets, you could say I'm very obvious because my favorite ones are dogs; however, if we refer to animals in general, there are many others I like, such as the tiger or the dolphin (strange combination right?). But since we have to talk about one, I'll tell you about a pet I'd love to have. That's a Beagle.
Beagles are a breed of dogs, which I think can be used for hunting, and they come from somewhere in Europe, but what I like about them is that they look great, they are full of energy and they seem to go along with children (and I have one little boy). Apart from that, even though, I don’t like aggressive dogs, I don’t like girly ones either, and Beagles keep the perfect balance.
The first time I saw one of them, I was in the countryside and I saw a couple walking a Beagle along the foothill, so I rushed to ask them whether I could pet him a little and they accepted. And as soon as I did it, I notice how soft, but tough they are. That one was like a little bunch of muscles ready to play. The couple told me that they need a lot of space to run around and I could see why.
Now, I live in an apartment, and pets aren’t allowed, but I look forward to the day I move into a house to have a dog like that.
