Post 2 (week 4)

Dear Students,

As you know, the first topic you chose is movies, so that's what you'll be wrting about for this session.

This is the outline for you to organize your post:

-say what your favorite movie is

-give background information

-say what the movie is about

-say why you like it

My favorite movie is the trilogy The Matrix. The first episode of this movie was released in 1999 and the movie was directed by Larry and Andy Wachowsky.

This movie is about a young man, Neo, who lives unconsciously connected to a matrix of machines which had conquered the world long ago. Most humans are in the same situation and are used as energy sources by the machines. A group of people that fight to set free mankind believe that Neo is the prophesied Mesiah that would come to save humanity and stop the war.

I love the movie because it resembles many things that I questioned when I was a teenager, and it also finds a way to combine old and current philosophies. In addition to that, I love the fighting scenes and the special effects.
