Here you have my example:
It’s funny. I’m not
anything like a world trotter but I’ve been able to visit some places, however,
I haven’t traveled to many places in the south of Chile as I wish I had. So
when I was about 16, I got the chance to sort of backpacking to
Curico-Molina-Radal and Talca.
I went with my brother and
a friend. They were already in there 20’s, so they were in charge of me. We stayed
in a campsite directed by CONAF, located in an area known as Parque Inglés – it
was for free so that was awesome.
Parque Inglés is located at
about 1000 meters above sea level on the Andes, and along the whole road that
takes you there, there are several waterfalls, very thick forests, hills all
around you and amazing cliffs that end up in a fantastic river. Also, the river
is full of rapids and caves. Actually, there are three main spots visited by
tourists known as: Salto de la Leona, Velo de la Novia y Las Siete Tazas, all
of them with fabulous rocky formations. We had the chance to go hiking to all
these places.
The trip was amazing
because I got to see all what I could imagine about the south. But of course, I
still have lots of destinations pending.
