Hi there,
My favorite pice of technology, or just the one I've chosen for this post is not a digital gadget, but a mechanical one: My Bike.
I'm pretty new on this motorcycle field. I bought her last year on July 22nd. And I have to say that by no means I regret.
I get to use my bike almost every day, except only when it rains, when I'm with my son or simply when I stay home. I use it to go to work, to party, to visit relatives, to go shopping, to go to do sports, etc, etc, etc . . . .
It was funny at the begining because I got home with a stiffneck and sore sholders, and I thought it was a matter of design or ergonomy of my bike, but then I realized I had to learn to enjoy the ride. I was so into not making mistakes and of course not falling down or crashing into something, that I was not letting my self feel the pleasure of it.
As I mention before, every now and then I find my self in a situation that I have to get my Bip and take a but, and then my smartphone becomes my favorite gadget (google maps, paraderos.cl, mp3 payer, all in one you know?), but being without her would turn me back to those hard days when everything was about surviving on Transantiago.

  1. Wow. I think is cool to have a motorcicle, I think it gives you style. But, the most important thing is that tou could use it, instead to use a bus above all in peacks hours! So, take a chance of that!

  4. The motorcycle!, Must be very comfortable driving through the streets of Santiago, should be useful when there is traffic congestion, I also imagine that the feeling should be fun, but I'd be afraid to use it, congratulations on overcoming your concerns.
