Here you have my own post . . .
Well, I went to a really intense and long  concert last Saturday, so I want to tell you about that. The concert I'm telling you about was "Un Canto para No Olvidar" (A Song Not to Be Forgotten  . . .  I guess) which was an event organazed to foster the develpment of a project: a museum in the National Stadium, as a memorial of those who were taken prisioners, tortured, and even killed whithin the installations of this sport center during the dictatorship. Obviously, the event took place in the stadium, but at first it was meant to be in the coliseum, however, because of the few number of tickets sold, it was moved to the cycle track.
The concert was very good. There were losts of Chilean bands and many Latinamerican guests. One of the most thrilling moments was the opening. A group of musicians from Chancho en Piedra, Inti and Quilapayun played the Cantata Rock (a rock version of The Cantata Santa María de Iquique). Pato Pimienta was also there doing the narratives. The whole thing was from aroung 19:00 until 2:00 if I remember well. And you know what? After elbowing my way during lots of hour, I made it to the front fence xD . . . just check the picture . . .

  3. Woow!, The concert must have been super exciting, I would have liked to go, but I could not buy tickets. The bands and the musical quality of these is extraordinary, in addition to the connotation of the event. Next time I hope to go.
